Runs the household
A shared family calendar, chores, grocery lists and meal plans, plus a heads-up when the kids get home from school.
Smart home & AI setup for Cleveland's suburbs
Less juggling, more living. Home Intelligence brings your devices, family calendars, photos and a private AI assistant together in one place, installed by a local team that keeps it running long after we leave.
Sound familiar?
Your home has more technology than ever, and it's never felt more complicated. More devices, more apps, more passwords, and somehow less peace of mind.
HI brings it all together in one place your whole family can actually use, and our team takes care of the rest.
What we do
Every setup is custom. Here's what most families start with:
A shared family calendar, chores, grocery lists and meal plans, plus a heads-up when the kids get home from school.
Lights, speakers, climate, locks, cameras, garage and sprinklers, all in one app that only you have access to. "Bedtime" or "Away" takes a single tap.
An AI assistant that knows your family's schedule, lists, and home, and only shares what each question needs. Ask who has pickup Thursday, what's for dinner, or whether the garage is closed.
A family photo library that lives in your home, not someone else's cloud. Every phone backs up automatically, and everyone can find everything.
Whole-home ad and tracker blocking, a family password vault, and safer Wi-Fi with separate networks for guests and smart devices.
Pool controls, a home office setup, care for an aging parent, or something we haven't heard of yet! Tell us how your household works, and we'll build around it.
Your home assistant
HI's assistant knows your household: your calendars, devices, routines, and documents. Ask it anything, the way you'd ask anyone at home. It only sees what you allow and it will never unlock a door or disarm an alarm without your okay.
Automations that earn their keep
We set up the automations that actually help, like the ones below, and adjust them to your routines.
Reads both parents' calendars, works out who's free for pickup, and speaks up if nobody is.
A school delay shifts the alarms, wake-up lights and morning routine, and tells both parents.
Water sensors and pipe temperatures trigger alerts that escalate, and can shut the main water valve on their own.
Door codes that only work during the visit, and an alert only if the expected visit doesn't happen.
A gentle daily "all's well" for adult children, based on motion in the home. No cameras.
Moves EV charging, laundry and the dishwasher to cheaper hours, and shows you what it saved.
Every automation we install comes with its own system check, so if something stops working, we find out before you do.
How it works
We spend about two hours at your home, map every device and your Wi-Fi, and learn how your household runs day to day. You get a written plan with an itemized bill, so there are no surprises.
$500, credited toward your install
We set everything up, connect what you already own, and walk the whole family through it. Then we spend 30 days fine-tuning it around your routines.
We monitor, back up, and maintain your system in the background. Major updates wait for your okay, and help is one message away.
What we install
A small, quiet computer about the size of a dictionary lives in a closet. Your photos, cameras and home data stay under your roof, and everything keeps working, even when the internet doesn't.
Our privacy promise
Privacy shouldn't require taking our word for it. Every system comes with a plain-language list of each connection it makes, what it sends, and how to turn it off. Check it yourself, or hand it to the tech-savvy relative.
Photos, camera footage, calendars and door history live on hardware in your house.
Encrypted before they leave, with keys only your system holds.
Remote help runs through a private, encrypted tunnel. Nothing is exposed on your router.
Every update is signed, tested on our own install first, and installed when you tap OK.
Orphaned system rescue
The installer moved on, the remote half-works, and nobody calls you back. We'll assess what you have, keep what's worth keeping, bridge it into a modern, supported system, and replace only what we have to.
Where we work
We're a Northeast Ohio business, and we only take on homes we can reach quickly, because good support sometimes means showing up.

Questions
Usually we can start with what you already own. Most major brands of lights, thermostats, locks, cameras and speakers can be connected. If something can't be, we'll tell you during the home assessment phase, before you decide on installation.
Yes. Our app works alongside them, so you can keep using Siri, Google or Alexa for voice while HI ties everything together in one app and runs the automations behind the scenes.
Your photos, files, camera footage and home data stay on hardware in your house, and backups are encrypted before they leave. We also publish a list of every connection the system makes, so you can see exactly what goes out.
Lights, locks, automations and the wall display keep working on your home network. Only the things that truly need the internet pause until it's back, like alerts on your phone while you're out, new events syncing from your Google calendar, and any device that only works through its maker's cloud. We'll point those out during your home assessment.
Some of it, yes. The assistant uses a cloud AI service, so the details a question needs, like today's calendar or whether the garage is open, go along with it. We send only what each question needs and never camera images by default, and we use a provider that doesn't train on your data. Everything it can reach is on our published list of connections, and you decide what's off-limits. Want voice commands that never leave the house? Ask us about our local AI option.
Yes. We document what you have, keep what still works, bridge it into a modern, supported system and replace only what we have to.
Every home is different, so pricing depends on what you want set up and which option you choose. It comes in two parts: a fixed setup fee for the assessment and install, and a monthly plan for ongoing care. The home assessment is $500 and is credited toward your install. Afterward, you'll get a written plan with a fixed price before any work starts.
